Principal's Message

Dear Bobby Duke Families and Community,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer
filled with rest, fun, and time together. On behalf of our entire staff, I am excited to welcome both
our returning and new families to another great year at Bobby Duke Middle School.

We are looking forward to partnering with you as we support our students academically, socially,
emotionally, and creatively. Our staff has been working hard to prepare for a successful school
year, and we are excited to see our students back on campus.

This year, we will continue our commitment to high-quality instruction through the District's
Instructional Framework, ensuring that all students have engaging learning experiences and
opportunities to grow. We are also proud to continue offering programs that include AVID,
Career Technical Education (CTE), our Dual Language Program, and our expanding Visual and
Performing Arts (VAPA) program, which provides students with opportunities to explore music,
art, and creativity while developing their talents and interests.

In addition to strong academic programs, we remain committed to supporting the whole child.
Students will participate in weekly Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons that help build
important life skills such as self-awareness, relationship-building, responsible decision-making,
and resilience. These lessons help create a positive school culture where students feel safe,
connected, and ready to learn. We also have our Wellness Center for students that can also
support their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

We are also excited to have and welcome several new staff members to Bobby Duke. Their
talents, experience, and enthusiasm will strengthen our school community and help support
student achievement.

At Bobby Duke, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to
student success. We encourage you to stay connected, attend school events, and communicate
with us throughout the year. Together, we can ensure that every student feels supported,
challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. I am honored to serve as your principal
